From my earliest memories, I’ve been in love with storytelling. My grandfather would sit me on his knee and tell me the old tales of his home in Ireland, and my mother would always read me bedtime stories–and occasionally substitute Star Trek: The Next Generation if I begged enough. So great was my craving for stories that I spontaneously told my mother I wanted to learn to read at the age of four. So she says, anyway.
That was easily the best decision I ever made.
Stories, whether screenplays, theatrical scripts, books, or video games, have fascinated and driven me ever since.
